How we build a shingle roof
- Tear-off to the deck and replacement of damaged wood.
- Deck re-nailing to current Florida code.
- Sealed roof deck with self-adhered or synthetic underlayment.
- New drip edge, valley metal, pipe boots and wall flashing.
- Architectural shingles fastened to the manufacturer's high-wind pattern.

Shingles we install
We install architectural shingles in colors that suit Florida homes and HOA guidelines. Epoch Roofing is a TAMKO Pro Platinum™ Certified Contractor. For Florida wind zones we recommend TAMKO Titan XT® shingles: according to TAMKO, they carry a limited wind warranty up to 160 mph (15 years) when installed with TAMKO starter and hip and ridge shingles per TAMKO's High Wind Application Instructions (complete tear-off or new construction), and are UL classified for wind resistance to ASTM D3161 Class F and ASTM D7158 Class H (TAMKO Titan XT). We also install all major shingle brands.
