Epoch Roofing LLC is a locally owned roofing contractor based in Sarasota and led by owner Miles Garner. We build and repair tile, metal, shingle and flat roofs for homeowners, property managers and general contractors across Southwest Florida.
Our story
Roofing has been my life's work. I started my first company, Roof Rx, in Lee County, built it up, and later sold it. After that I stepped away for a while to spend time with my children, and I'm grateful I did.
When I came back, I knew exactly what I wanted to build. I started Epoch Roofing to do it the right way from the very beginning, bringing everything I'd learned running my first company: how to treat homeowners, how to stand behind the work, and how to build a crew that takes pride in every roof.
At Epoch, that means honest recommendations, clear communication from the first inspection to the final walkthrough, and quality you can see long after we've packed up. Whether we're repairing a leak or installing a new roof, I hold every job to the same standard I'd want on my own home.
That's what our name stands for: Epoch — When Excellence Matters.
Beyond the roof
I'm married with two kids, and when I'm not on a roof you might find me in the sky. I'm a skydiver with over 1,000 jumps. Skydiving has taught me to stay calm, stay focused, and put safety first every single time, and I bring that same mindset to every job we do.
